It is with great joy that we have the opportunity to announce the
formation of the Adams County Young Democrats club.  This aspect of our
organization has been long overlooked.  We feel it is time to address this
matter to ensure the future of our party and its political beliefs.  Many of
the Democratic Party's leaders have gotten their start in politics through
various young Democrats clubs.  It is time to add members of Adams County to
that list!

     This organization has been formed to promote democratic beliefs.  Our
goals are; to assist in the election of Democratic candidates, encourage
youth involvement, support the ideals of the party at all levels of
government, instill young people with the values for which the Democratic
Party stands, provide young people with the skills and experiences they will
need to lead our local, state, and federal governments.  Our goals also
include assisting our local party in the grassroots politics areas of; get
out the vote effort, rides to the polls, mailings, phone banks, literature
drops, and fundraising.  We hope to build lifetime bonds among our members
and members of the Democratic Party through social events such as; monthly
meetings, picnics, dinners, mixers, and meet the candidates nights.

     As with all organizations, active members are the key to success!
