Junk Mail

    Would it be possible for one of the canditates to wage a war  against junk mail and the fact that ordinary citizens are subsidizing something we all find annoying?   Ordinary citizens must affix a thirty-two cent stamp to their out going mail while a utility company may send out it's monthly statements for twenty-two cents postage,  not even enough to have it forwarded to you if you are away on vacation thus causing  possible delinquent payments.  Junk mail goes out at an even lower rate than that and we are subsidizing the junk whether or not we want to.
   The postal department might be better organized and give better service with out the abundance of trash they are delivering and for which we are covering the cost.  If all mail were charged the same rate it would be a tremendous financial boon for the postal department and certainly eliminate the cluttering of our mail boxes.
